Creating the Script:

Part One:

Use the prologue and maybe the character description to create your monologue for your character's introduction. This introduction should be around 100 words in length. It can be longer.

Remember, your objective is to illustrate what your character is like. Show his or her personality.

As part of the introduction, briefly summarize the story. Don't give away too much. Rather, build hype for the story the way you think your character would do it.

Part Two: The Story

You have the story with the narration and scenes. All you have to do is create dialogue and action for the those scenes.

Remember, it needs to be ten minutes in length. A three page script will fall well short. Try to create a script around six pages.

Don't forget audience paticipation. Be creative.

The Finale:

Remember the question you must ask at the end of your scene.

Remember the handout you must provide at the end of the scene.
